SOUTH SEA PEARLS

South Sea Pearls are among the largest commercially harvested cultured pearls in the world. The average size of a south sea pearl is 13 mm, with most harvests producing a range of sizes from 9 mm to 20 mm. The colour of a genuine cultured South Sea pearls is completely natural without any treatment. They have a subtle array of colors: typically white, silver and golden, that is rare in other pearl types. They have different shapes such as round, semi-round, button shape, pear shape, drop shape etc. Their cost of production is extremely high and so they remain among the costliest pearls on the market today.
