AQUAMARINE

Aquamarine derives its name from the Latin phrase “water of the sea”. It belongs to the same mineral family as the Emerald. This is the stone of the sea and the stone of the mystic. It exists in many shades from pale blue to sky blue and bluish-green shade. The deeper the color of the aquamarine the higher is its value. The most prized color is the deep-blue aqua color.

Aquamarine gemstone has many historical stories to tell and many meanings attached to it. This stone has a very soothing energy and was considered to be a lucky stone for the sea travelers for protection and prosperous journey.

The Sumerians, Egyptians and Hebrews held the stone as a symbol of happiness and everlasting youth. In the East, it is held as the stone of the Seer and Mystic, a gemstone that imparts purity to the wearer. It is also a symbol of peace.

The Romans believed that when blessed and worn, this gemstone joins in love, and does great things. It was the traditional gift between bride and groom after marriage, because it was said to absorb that passion. So it is a life-long lover’s stone. Pearls

A pearl is a hard,lustrous spherical mass, whiter or bluish grey,formed within the soft tissue (specifically the mantle) of a living oyster or bivalre mollusc. A pearl is a very special and unique gift of nature considered by god. Pearl is the gemstone ruled by moon planet.

The best pearls are moonlike, shining white in colour, with a perfectly round shape. It’s lustrous and smooth. Different pearls have different meanings like white stands for spiritual gifts, rose for giving intelligence and power, yellow for  bringing material prosperity. Black pearls are rare, but are not ideal for development. Coppery or non-lustrous, dirty, cracked, misshapen or otherwise defective pearls should be avioided as they are inauspicious.

Pearl gemstones have a peaceful and calming effect on the mind, and always encourages one’s self confidence as well as love or compassion for other people. It provides happiness. modesty, chastity, success, comfort and luxury in one’s life.
